Section 5: Creating a Silhouette Account

When you are ready to shop for additional library images, you will want to click on the "Purchase Online" button. It is located on the lower left-hand side of the software screen.

TROUBLESHOOTING: If you receive an error message when attempting to access the "Purchase Online" section, you may find a resolution through our online trouble-shooting by clicking here.

This will open the online shopping system. You will need to log into your account or create a new one if you have not already.

NOTE: This is different from any website accounts you may have set up. The Silhouette system and www.Silhouette.com website are separate systems so you will need to set up a separate account. This is also separate from the warranty registration you may have filled out.

If you have not logged in, you will be shown in the upper right-hand corner of the shopping window that you are not yet logged in. Simply click on the orange "signed in" link to sign in at any time, or you may continue to browse and add shapes to your cart until you are ready to check out.

If you are logged in, you will be shown your email address you are logged in with as well as a "my account" link to manage your account.

There are several options in the "my account" section:

  • Change My Account Information - This section will allow you to change your preferred display name, email address, or password.
  • My Download History - This section will display all previously purchased images along with a copy of your previous receipts.
  • Recover All Download Designs - This option will allow you to recover all previously purchased designs in the event of a computer crash.
  • Add a Download Card to My Balance - In this section, you may add download cards to your account balance.
  • Manage My Credit Cards - In this section, you may save credit card information to your account for convenience in purchasing additional images. All information provided is secure and cannot be seen by anyone but you.
