Section 5: Portfolio CDs

Additional images from Silhouette are also available on our Digital Design Portfolio CDs. There are currently seven different Digital Design Portfolio CDs with varying themes. Image included on these CDs are only available to purchase directly through Authorized Retailers. They are not available for download.

Each Portfolio CD retails for only $69.99 and includes an alphabet in four different versions, plus 50 images that come in four coordinating styles. This means there are actually 4 fonts and 200 images on each CD.

The style types are:

Silhouette - this is a basic outlined image
Layered Shape - this a similar to the basic Silhouette but with different parts that may be cut in separate colors to layer together, much like our die-cut shapes
Sketch - this is an image intended to be drawn with the pen attachment and then cut out with a matted outline
Print and Cut - this in an image intended to be printed out to your regular printer and then fed back into the Silhouette to cut out around the printed image's border

As an added bonus for digital scrappers, each CD also includes coordinating PNG files. These are files that may be used by certain digital scrapbooking software programs. Silhouette does not currently offer digital scrapbooking software.

We will go into more detail on how each of the different images included on the Portfolio CDs are to be used in a later section.
